An uptight lovesick businessman, a relentlessly optimistic oddball, and a theatrical over-zealous grandma find themselves stranded at the airport on Christmas Eve. The last flight out of town is on budget airline Penguin Air, run by puppets and headed by the elusive and omnipotent leader, The Christmas Penguin. With the help (or hindrance) of Kevin the hippie husky, Annabel the anxious chicken, and a ground crew of eccentric guides, our desperate passengers must complete a series of Christmas Tasks, each escalating in ridiculousness, in order to board their flight home and ultimately find their own path to Christmas bliss.

A present-wrapping, toe-tapping, finger-snapping musical extravaganza, where the surreal is real, the mess is festive, and the all-powerful Christmas Penguin runs the show. So pack your stocking, treat yourself to some Duty-Free, and stow your emotional baggage in the overhead compartment.

An original New Zealand musical. Final boarding call for Christmas!
