Maz Jobrani is a globally recognised comedian and actor, known for his sharp wit and dynamic stage presence. He recently released his latest stand-up comedy special, The Birds & The Bees, now streaming on YouTube. On screen, Maz is beloved for his role as “Fawz” on the CBS comedy Superior Donuts, and has appeared on hit shows including Grey’s Anatomy, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Shameless, Last Man Standing, and more.
Maz has also been a favourite guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Late Late Show with James Corden. His film credits include The Interpreter (directed by Sydney Pollack), Disney’s Descendants, Friday After Next, and his award-winning indie film Jimmy Vestvood: Amerikan Hero, which he also co-wrote and co-produced.
In addition to his Netflix special Immigrant, filmed at the Kennedy Center, Maz has released three other stand-up specials on Showtime: Brown and Friendly, I Come in Peace, and I’m Not a Terrorist, But I’ve Played One on TV.
