Te Ahurei Toi o Tāmaki Auckland Arts Festival starts TODAY and we are so excited for the 18 days ahead of us, filled with performance, experiences, culture, art and, kōrero.

Over the next two and a half weeks, Bernie Haldane (Kaitohu Toi, Artistic Director at Auckland Arts Festival) invites you to step into the unexpected at Q Theatre and soak up the spirit of the festival!

"One of my first Auckland Arts Festival experiences was at Q Theatre, where I was captivated by Nightsong’s Te Pō ; its twists and turns, and the unexpected surprise and humour within a story of grief. It was through the Festival lens that I actually became smitten for the Q Theatre experience, filled with great storytelling, artists sharing their craft and audiences who love the close connection to artists."  - Bernie Haldane

The festival is a very special event on the performing arts calendar, and we love being involved every year at Q, celebrating so much arts and culture from Aotearoa and across the world.

We've got four incredible shows happening in our whare this festival, and we can't wait for our spaces to be lit up with all the wonderful art and enthusiastic audiences that AAF brings.

We'll see you very soon!
