It was great to see so many of you back in the building for Auckland Arts Fest shows this month. We loved having Rangatira filled up again with double-billed shows, seeing mates catching up, and seeing you enjoying our new cheeseboards and nibbles on offer!
Next month brings dance back to Rangatira with Rodney Bell's emotional and inspiring Meremere. April also see's the last of our 2021 Summer at Q line-up hit the stage, and some Afrocentric funk-jazz make its way up into Loft. It's a month filled with variety and something exciting for you to discover.

Meremere comes to Q right after Easter and tells the powerful story of Rodney Bell, described in this interview with The Cafe in 2018.
Directed by Malia Johnston and performed by Rodney Bell, Meremere features audiovisuals by the award-winning designer Rowan Pierce, and live music from the highly talented Jol Mulholland. Showing for one night only, tickets are limited. Click below to learn more.

SUMMER AT Q - PART 2
The Party Continues
Despite the unfortunate cancellation of Habbuk, we still have three exciting Summer at Q shows before we call it a wrap on the festival for the year. Take a gander below at these three distinct shows and see if any tickle your fancy.
A universal story told by local storytellers, and proudly female-led, this brand new play offers vignettes of humanity amidst apocalyptic chaos.

A New Musical by Jane Austen and Penny Ashton
In this hilarious, one-woman show, Miss Ashton collaborates with Jane Austen (deceased) and tackles all of her characters with song, dance and appalling cross-stitching.
