The last 12 months have been incredibly eventful for Q, and we're so grateful for all the wonderful shows, events, artists, donors, audience members, and supporters who have been part of our year.
This year, we welcomed several new faces to our office including the Senior Leadership Team members: Phil Evans, Karyn Metcalf, and Melissa Fergusson. We launched a festival within a festival (PodFest at Q as part of Summer at Q), smashed the funding goal for our inaugural annual digital fundraiser, and hosted an evening with the Minister for Arts, Culture, and Heritage, Paul Goldsmith. Q MATCHBOX also returned for another year, with a fantastic, innovative work - Our Own Little Mess by A Slightly Isolated Dog.

Back in June, we were honoured to work alongside Majic Pāora and Ngāti Whātua Ōrakei to deliver two exceptional evenings of Māori music and performance at Mahuta - A Matariki Showcase. This year also saw Tempo Dance Festival Te Rerenga o Tere back in full swing supported by Q, with 12 fabulous movement-filled shows dancing their way through Rangatira, Loft and Vault.

With performances spanning across music, dance, circus, theatre, comedy, clowning, poetry, talks and more, it's safe to say our programme this year was extremely diverse and we feel pretty darn privileged to house so many amazing artists and their mahi.
As we look ahead to 2025, we’re buzzing with excitement about what’s to come. To all of you who’ve supported us - thank you. Your enthusiasm and commitment truly fuel everything we do.
