Hello all you wonderful people,
Welcome to the unapologetic, high-energy world of MESSY FRIENDS! We're a drag collective that blends lip-sync, burlesque, dance and documentary-style storytelling to create a show that is equal parts dazzling and deeply personal.
At its core, MESSY FRIENDS is about queer joy, resilience and self-expression. In our performances, we celebrate the beautiful chaos of life - the highs and lows, the messy and the magnificent. We can't wait to share all of this with you during the wonderful time that is Auckland Pride Festival!
Behind the scenes, we've been hard at work rehearsing, perfecting choreography, and making sure every second of the show delivers pure, unfiltered magic. We're pushing ourselves further than ever, weaving together fierce performances with raw stories to create an experience that will have you laughing, gasping, and maybe even shedding a tear.
