INTRODUCTION

As we end another strange year for the arts, it’s been rewarding to look back and see how much we’ve still managed to achieve despite the obstacles thrown at us all.
We end the year on a far more stable footing than we have many others, thanks largely to the support of Auckland Council, our generous donors, and every one of our audience members who, despite other uncertainties, came in large numbers to see live performances in our spaces.
It was particularly gratifying to see such enthusiasm for local artists and be reminded of the wealth of talent in Aotearoa. The closed borders did not stop audiences from seeing gold standard Theatre, Dance, Comedy and Music.
We're also excited to share our first public Annual Report that wraps up our Financial Year ending 30 June 2021, and we encourage you to take a read by following the link below.
So from everyone here at Q, ngā mihi o te wā me te kia pai ngā hararei - Season’s greetings and have a great holiday break.
Ngā mihi o te wā me te Tau Hou,
Greg Innes | Chief Executive | Tumu Whakarae
